Starting in December 2013 the engines were updated to have 3D faces, and in late June, SI3D moved to another site and it is currently unknown if the older sites will remain up. It carries around Oliver's face, to use as a mask in order to fool other engines or people into letting it approach. His appearance becomes more mutated & freakish as the story progresses, now commonly featuring tendrils which form what looks to be like spider legs coming out of his body underneath his chassis, though it appears The Beast has always had these, and only started using them more later in the story. In place of Oliver's face is a large mouth full of razor sharp teeth, resembling a Demogorgon from the Netflix series, "Stranger Things". "The Beast", or rather, what used to be Oliver, is a Great Western 14XX Class 0-4-2T locomotive.
